Switching from Friday watch to the Saturday watch

Friday, I wore my lucky watch, the 1815 2nd generation, to a client session (an inspirational talk on how to work on your customer focus and commercial mindset in your role as a consultant).

Today, I’ve been wearing the 1815 Thin for a lunch with my new client for the next 6 months. New beginnings!

Both watches carry the Lange DNA but in different ways. The normal 1815 is so very traditional and crisp in its demeanor where the 1815 Thin is slightly more sophisticated and playful having dressed itself up in honeygold, an enamel dial and some special decorations on the movement.

Needless to say, I love them both. Amazing what a few tweaks can do to watches that on paper are very similar.

Thanks for reminder and for your thoughts about that watch, Claus. I've never seen that dial in person. Looks beautiful.

It has lived a quiet lige since it was launched. Not as ‘noisy’ as some of their complicated watches. The dial is a stunner. Simplicity done right.

1) Get a phone with a good camera. I’m using the iPhone 15 Pro Max 2) Be aware of the light and reflections. I don’t have a portable ‘studio’ like Amanico. Sometimes I use mewspapers etc. to reduce unwanted light/reflections. Stilk have a lot to learn her...
