Breguet Type XX Steel, LE Pieces, circa 2010.

A tad, just a tad bigger than the 3800, this Type XX Aeronavale is 40 mm big.

The dial is very nice, the crown with its special shape is attractive, and the case back tells the story.

This is the last Type XX I like.

Before we'll get a new one which will match with our dreams...

Best,

Nicolas

I love that bezel!!  And no date.

Awesome timepiece here.

My thoughts exactly!

Agreed, here.

I totally agree with you

Best Ø

I know you love black bezels, mon ami.

 By: amanico : March 5th, 2023-22:12

Yes, that detail is uber cool.

 By: amanico : March 5th, 2023-22:10

I agree!!

I think the black bezel give it more of a tool watch appearance and makes it more discrete on the wrist.

+1

Merci for your comments, Lars.

It's the modern one I like best too.

I've had it for a long time already. Nice pictures you posted!

Lucky you!

Skilful use of (many) flat surfaces and of the 'colour' silver. A distinctively individual yet cleverly related piece. Breguet's design team is very good.

Exactly what I think, but better said by you. ;)

 By: amanico : March 5th, 2023-22:13

I appreciate the compliment, despite having evidence to the contrary.

:)))

I'm a little conflicted on the bezel but would happily go with it to ditch the date! 40mm instead of 39? Sure, why not.

 By: InDebtButOnTime : March 5th, 2023-22:16

Yes, why not.

 By: amanico : March 5th, 2023-22:16

The case is the same as the others Type XX, only the Bezel is 40mm.

OK, that makes sense. Thanks for that info.

This and the JLC deepsea

Are probably my two favorite waterproof chronographs. The fifty fathoms comes in third due to it's thickness.

I cannot disagree with your preferences, here.

I like thisreference too, however I prefer the hands of my XX Transatlantic (unpainted)

Thanks for echoing, mon ami.
