Montblanc Villeret Exotourbillon Rattrapante. A Masterpiece of fine horology.

Maybe the finest watch from Montblanc Villeret.
Here we have:
- A manual winding chronograph with a Rattrapante which is not modular, but integrated.
- A sublime Tourbillon with its hyper finished bridge which requires one week of work.
- Enamel dial.
- One of the most beautiful movement, in terms of decoration and finishings.
- An exquisite mother of pearl star, in the crown.
- A very nice case, which, despite its generous size ( 47 mm ) is wearable for a normal wrist like mine ( 17 cm big ).
I was very lucky to meet our friend Penfriend who is even luckier to own such a marvel.
Here are the photos I could take at Watches and Wonders, during our short meeting.
Ok, if I had to find one reserve, it would be the size of this watch. Because it also existed, with a different dial, in 44 mm case, and only because the 44 mm case existed.
But it is certainly not a no go for me.
When we think of fine horology, this one is certainly the watch I would keep in mind.
Best,
Nicolas
