Uncrossed 't', 200m WR and gold cap, and, just like yours, tritium dial.
A question: mine appears to have a luminova hands over its tritium dial... and in this picture, at least, yours looks the same. Is that right? And do you know if that means that our watches have replacement hands?

I always loved pilots chronos and always thought the Type XX was the prettiest one. But somehow I never grabbed one... I have now! ...
Me too.

I'd like to think it's a keeper--but lots of watches feel like keepers two days into ownership! It always helps, as in this case, when it seems like a lot more watch than $$$. Lessens the future temptation to flip it.
Beautiful

I tried getting mine on the tan strap but the AD could only provide the dark brown.
The tan is really nice

The guy who sold it to me sent it with this, and also with a black calf strap that appears to be original to the watch. (Don't see myself using the black calf very often, but it's nice to have nonetheless.)
Don't wait too long

If the day ever comes that these get some traction in the collecting community, this version--the original with gold-capped crown--is sure to be the one that rises in value first.
Thanks!

It's such a nice watch, and available for such a relatively reasonable price, I don't know what took me so long.
Beautiful,

For a long time I held back on this one only because I preferred the brushed bezel on the Transatlantique... but I think I got over that.
Excellent decision!

I have been “pregnant” with getting a XX for a long time now. I personally find your version together with the XXII in Titanium the prettiest one. The dial is to die for. Especially because of the missing white date window. Many congrats. It fits your wri...

This appears to be a XX I sold late last year to JLater on WUS. I owned it since 1999 when I acquired it from a long time member of TZ in Hawaii. in my 20 years of ownership it was serviced twice, the last time about 8 years ago, and a couple of years lat...

Amazing, that's the one! Very interesting history on the piece. Thanks so much for jumping in! Seems unlikely the hands would have needed replacing in the first 3-4 years of the watch's life. Could it be that it just came from the factory with tritium on ...
