Lange @ Carnegie Hall: Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2
Better (a couple months) late than never. Chinese-Canadian Tony Siqi Yun (貟思齊) performed Rach PC2 with Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal under Yannick Nézet-Séguin’s baton in early March. Listening to this masterpiece live at Carnegie Hall was a dream come true. But what made it really special was enjoying this great performance with family while wearing my beautiful Saxonia Jahreskalender!
