Jaeger-LeCoultre: remember, belle horlogerie has been the new(ish) raison d'etre... no interest in updating movements in any "basic" models.

be they reverso, memovox, master lines etc. one has to wonder if the revenues since belle horlogerie of mme renier (now replaced as she has "moved on" back to asia) has worked out for JLC, because as we all know, nothing has been advanced and the polaris line certainly has not been a gold mine if JL

Horological Meandering: Well,

I have little sympathy for brands that have ignored outreaches from dedicated members of this site whilst pissing aways millions to celebrity brand ambassadors. 1) Our requests to JLC for many ideas let alone collaborations have been dismissed out of hand but belle horlogerie at astronomical prices

Omega: whilst i was at a jeweler selling one of my watches (the fellow and i were straight, direct and it went well -- i'm not selling to make a profit!)...

I was pleasantly surprised to see this little lovely piece in the general showcase - paris edition bronze gold bg859... the watch is no longer available online from omega. the bronze gold is a very soft gold, not orange-bronze at all, and the silver dial is charming. it wears very well at 39 mm, 11.
