In addition, I would like to add that the thicker Burgundy one has curved lugs that hug the wrist more compare to the thinner straight lugs of the Rouge.
Also, the indexes on the Burgundy are higher in the middle and slop down towards both sides (not sure about the exact word for it) but the indexes on the Rouge are flat. As a result the Burgundy feels more bling/ modern and has more depth comparing to the more vintage inspired Rouge.
Personally I prefer the Rouge’s cleaner dial and swords hands just because it is easier to tell the time. Dauphine hands, sometimes I get the hour and minute hands mixed up. I really need to check my eyesight.
Finally, I never seem to able to see the sunburst dial on the Burgundy. Again, this confirms I need to see an eye doctor lol.
David, bravo! I guess your last one, the Burgundy, was not the toughest to catch, at the contrary of the Bangkok, and of course, the London. Is the Blue the Rio? [nt]
Yes, the blue one is the Rio. I will post a picture of the London, Bangkok and Rio engravings soon.

Hey Nico,
The Bangkok yellow one and the London green are by far the hardest to catch. The burgundy one is my son’s birth year watch with a special engraving on the back. Not the toughest catch, but it is the most meaningful.
Do you know how many were made? Does anyone have more information on this Madison Avenue Boutique edition? Time to do some research I would say = ) Thank you for enlightening me, cfnissen.
...we are in the single digits for this one. I saw ads for it in The New Yorker magazine. This was around the opening of the JLC flagship store on Madison Av.
They also made another variation afterwards with an engraving of the Brooklyn Bridge. And they were considering - but never made - one with the NY subway map, which would have been ultra cool.
