Too bad, because the bezel case and dial is nice. But this damn date... And I still have to check the movement. Flyback ok, but manual or auto?
This is the “civilian “ version.
There’s a military version as well. Both have dates at 4:30. And they are automatic.

I’m floored by this. Breguet has a pre-organized focus group of die-hard Type XX fans on this platform and others. It is a simple thing for its design and marketing team to consult with its supporters. And yet they put out something wildly out of touch. Cannot for the life of me imagine why.
Alas, we were waiting for something really special... And not specially for these 2. ;)

That was my sticking point too!
I can, literally, get a solid gold Breguet for that. With no messy date window to boot!
4 years working on an upgraded movement just to be destroyed by dial. Why on gods earth did they put the swiss made below the date too. Jesus

Here’s the military. The hands are a thousand times better. I would have pulled the trigger until I saw the date!

Huge miss, date is an obvious culprit, but there are at least 5 design flaws on first pass that make it a no for me, the previous bi-compax Type XX was also questionable... a shame considering the potential
I feel that Breguet needs a new design team. First they messed with the Marine and now the Type XX.
It looks like a mess at the 4 and 5 markers.
