With shots like these, I’m always asking myself, “where is he standing and under what circumstances?”
Did it necessitate a few takes? Filters? The process for setting it up? Was this a spot that he returns to? Did he bring a cup of coffee? The mind wanders
Actually no! It was getting fairly dark. 50m 1.8. If I remember at least a 60sec exposure. Standing up high on rocks. I slipped on these rocks, scratched the hell out of my hands.
My camera slipped out and was saved by the tripod lodging in the rocks.
