I've been a huge fan of Breguet since the beginning of my passion for collecting. Along with JLC, VC, and Patek, Breguet has been amongst the most respected brands for me.
With that in mind, the Type XX had become a must have for me due to it's history and pedigree. Maybe it was a sign of things to come for me later in life as my wife is French π. I like to joke with her that I fell in love with Breguet and the type XX before I even knew her π€£π. That did not go very well for me π€¦ββοΈ
I have had 4 different type XX models throughout the years but ONLY kept 2. As with Nico, adding a vintage Type XX is another goal:
- Type XX Transatlantic in Ti - given to a relative
- Type XX Transatlantic in SS - also given to a relative
- Type XX Transatlantic in RG black dial - currently being serviced at Breguet Paris
- Type XX Transatlantic in RG white dial
Here are 2 older photos of my 2 remaining Type XX watches. Will pay a new thread since I wore the white dial today as well π
